The kelp is hand harvested by a band of local natives. They approach the site with boats and cut with sharp knives only the tops of the kelp plants, assuring that only actively growing and healthy kelp plant tissue is used in the manufacture of KELPGROW.

The kelp is then collected in plastic totes on the boat and brought to our production plant.
